Book #3 = "The Good Guy" by Dean Koontz, 3/5 StarsI blow through Koontz books, so they serve as good catch-up books for me. This was the first time that I read one, since I've been writing my own book, that I paid attention to the template that he uses.
- Good vs. Evil, of course.
- A calling, a life mission, a pull, "something coming."
- A 3rd party that assists the protagonist and through assistance gets roped into the climax.
- Loss to achieve gain.
