Wrapped in Rain by Charles Martin, 3/5 StarsThough I love Martin's style and find him very easy to read, it took me quite a few chapters to get into this book. Ultimately, I found the pain that he wrote into a character whose father only paid attention to him when he felt a beating was in order to be very well done, even though I know nothing about that kind of a father-son relationship. And, as always--and this is truly what I love about Charles Martin's writings--he brings it back to love (even though it was always about love): lean on love, trust in love, love will never give up on you. Definitely worth a read. Enjoy!
