30/52: The Accidental Billionaires

30/52: The Accidental Billionaires, 2.5/5 Stars
Oh, I remember the days of whispering in the public coffee shops of Silicon Valley; the days of discussing millions of dollars over lunch among other people that were discussing millions of dollars at other tables. Though this book about the foundation of Facebook happened while I was in the Valley working for Yahoo! and 4INFO, I wasn't aware of it happening, and I was late to the Facebook experience because I'd already graduated from school and didn't have a .edu email address. I enjoyed the read, largely because I know the some of the investor names and companies, and it was a quick read... fascinating how start-ups, once built in garages as hobbies by full-time professionals, are now the side projects of students and many others. I love technology. However, it's a story that I've heard a thousand times with other companies... it is what it is. Guard your grill.
