Books 44 & 45 of 2011's 64

45/64: A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink, 2/5 Stars
Entertained Me: Low / Made Me Think: Med

Cover of Cover of The Art of Racing in the RainI struggled through this book even though I love listening to or reading Pink's blog posts. The reason? I think it was because I already knew what this book was about. But also, this is the first book that I've read that simply didn't format well to the Kindle. I read half of it 3 months ago and, finally, the other half this week.

44/64: The Art of Racing in the Rain by Stein, 3.5/5 Stars
Entertained Me: High / Made Me Think: Med

Took about 25% of the tale before I became wound up in it. Turns out it's a great story that's very easy to read, incorporates the underdog, perseverance and the American Dream--good entertainment value. After finishing this book, I went to my parents' house and spent some quality time with Waylon the dog!
